Payments Information

1. What methods of payment do you accept?

At Matstores.co.uk we currently accept payment using credit or debit card (MasterCard, Visa and American Express), PayPal, Google Pay, Klarna pay later and Klarna pay in 3. 

2. Can I pay for my order over the telephone?

Unfortunately, we do not have the facility to take payments over the telephone. We are only able to accept payments online via MasterCard, Visa, American Express, PayPal, Google Pay, Klarna pay later and Klarna pay in 3. 

3. When will you take payment for my order?

Payment for your order will be taken when your order is placed and before the item(s) are dispatched. We are unable to dispatch your item(s) until your payment has been received.

4. Is my payment secure?

Yes. At Mat Stores, we take customer security extremely seriously in our responsibility as an online retailer. We utilise Stripe to process credit and debit card payments and also accept payments through PayPalGoogle Pay and Klarna.

We are not provided with any of your payment details by our payment providers and do not store any of our customers' financial details when you pay for your order(s).

5. How will I know if my payment has been received/accepted?

We will send you an automated order confirmation email when your order has been successfully processed and payment has been received. This email will include the payment method used and the amount debited from your account.

6. Will I receive confirmation of my order?

Yes. Once you have placed your order, you will receive an automated confirmation email. In most cases the email will come through almost instantly after the order has been place. However, we do advise you to allow up to 24 hours to receive the confirmation email.

Should you not receive an email, please check your spam settings and all email folders, as it is common for emails to go to your junk folder. If you still haven’t received a confirmation email, please contact us.

7. What should I do if my payment is declined?

Occasionally card payments can be declined for a number of reasons. You should be notified at the point of checkout if your payment is unsuccessful. Please check your payment details to ensure they are correct and re-enter your payment information. If the problem persists, try using an alternative card or contact your bank.
